It was one of those hot summer days in Kaikoura and I went for a short walk like I used to while there. I noticed this hill with lonely trees on the very first evening and thought right away that this could make for a good photo if conditions would be right. And the very second day they were... which resulted in this photo.
About Peter Kolejak
Born and raised under the mountains in northern Slovakia in the heart of Europe. I only discovered photography in late 2017, but it was in New Zealand in 2018 where I fell in love with it completely and it became my passion. After one year in New Zealand I moved to Canada where I spent 2 years in close vicinity of magnificent Rockies.
