Artist's Description
Mountain cabin under Rysy peak is located 2250 metres above sea level and it´s highest cabin located in Slovak´s Tatra mountains. It was built in 1933 and then rebuilt in 2013 after taken severe damage from several avalanches. Until these days it is supplied by traditional system of porters who carry (both ways) on their back whatever is needed.
About Peter Kolejak
Born and raised under the mountains in northern Slovakia in the heart of Europe. I only discovered photography in late 2017, but it was in New Zealand in 2018 where I fell in love with it completely and it became my passion. After one year in New Zealand I moved to Canada where I spent 2 years in close vicinity of magnificent Rockies. Currently back home in Europe planning to extend my portfolio by beauties of local nature...
