It was one of those days when weather just didn´t cooperate. Alongside my friend we set of from Calgary that morning with plan to summit a mountain in Kananaskis Country located about one and a half hour drive. When we got to our desired location weather was just terrible, pouring rain and grey sky full of clouds did not give any hope for better conditions in near time. We decided to call off the summit and drove around the area for next 2-3 hours hoping to at least get some pictures as our consolation prize. At last we arrived to third lake of that day, Upper Kananaskis Lake, and we got lucky. Rain stopped for few minutes and beautiful rainbow formed in front of our eyes offering this beautiful sight. It only lasted few minutes and I did not get any other shots that day, but for that brief moment and this single picture it was worth it
