Description
Sand dunes of Wharariki Beach on northernmost point of New Zealand´s South Island. This remote, picturesque beach has some reputation and I craved to see it for a quite some time. When I finally got there late afternoon after few hours of driving I set myself in nearby campsite and was ready to chill out. Weather forecast for next few days was quite bad so I decided eventually to go and see the beach instead of chilling in hope to shoot some dunes before they will be washed out by incoming rain. And so I witnessed this beautiful scene just before the sunset and rain came that very day. After intense rainfalls dunes somewhat disappeared and although I stayed there for next few days I did not see them in their best again.
