Artist's Description
It was not a very beautiful day but I decided to give it a go and went out with my camera anyways. After few minutes I got caught in sudden snow blizzard and although it seemed hopeless from photography point of view the opposite was true in the end. Snow simplified the whole landscape and allowed certain subjects to stand out. That was when I noticed this lonely tree and while it was still heavily snowing this photo came to life.
About Peter Kolejak
Born and raised under the mountains in northern Slovakia in the heart of Europe. I only discovered photography in late 2017, but it was in New Zealand in 2018 where I fell in love with it completely and it became my passion. After one year in New Zealand I moved to Canada where I spent 2 years in close vicinity of magnificent Rockies. Currently back home in Europe planning to extend my portfolio by beauties of local nature...
