Artist's Description
Not even two hours drive from Calgary lies this kind of landscape. Driving west from Calgary you´re soon welcome by majestic Rockies. But going the opposite way has something to offer as well. East from Calgary around city of Drumheller lies Canadian badlands, this completely different area which would make you think you are in some other country probably. Badlands are full of canyons and desert like landscapes and are also know for its rich occurrence of dinosaur fossils. This is the place where several unique dinosaur species has been discovered f.e. Albertosaurus named after province of Alberta.
About Peter Kolejak
Born and raised under the mountains in northern Slovakia in the heart of Europe. I only discovered photography in late 2017, but it was in New Zealand in 2018 where I fell in love with it completely and it became my passion. After one year in New Zealand I moved to Canada where I spent 2 years in close vicinity of magnificent Rockies.
