Description

Full day hike in Pirongia Forest Park in New Zealand turned out to be more difficult as anticipated originally. After few rainy days track was completely deserted with many muddy sections and fallen trees crossing it, making it sometimes difficult to navigate. I´ve lost the track several times but eventually made my way to the Mount Pirongia summit which was the goal of the hike. Photo was taken on my way down when I was already aware what lies ahead of me, which made me more appreciative about beauty of the environment I was in.
