Catching the sunrise was not my primary goal when doing this popular walk in Hawke´s Bay area in New Zealand. Goal was to reach local landmark, Cape Kidnappers (located at the very back of the picture, closest to the sun), and ideally do it before the tide will hit the beach again. I almost did not make it and main reason was beauty of sunrise I encountered on my way there. I just could not resist the temptation to stop, sit and just watch this stunning performance.

Born and raised under the mountains in northern Slovakia in the heart of Europe. I only discovered photography in late 2017, but it was in New Zealand in 2018 where I fell in love with it completely and it became my passion.
