Artist's Description
What do you do if you see storm approaching on the horizon? If you are landscape photographer you get your camera ready of course. I came across this scenery on New Zealand´s Banks Peninsula during one of my day trips from Christchurch city. I remember how I liked that extra mood which storm clouds gave to the peaceful green valley scenery. After I made this shot I waited for the storm to show its magic but nothing dramatic happened in the end, what followed was just nice springtime rain.
About Peter Kolejak
Born and raised under the mountains in northern Slovakia in the heart of Europe. I only discovered photography in late 2017, but it was in New Zealand in 2018 where I fell in love with it completely and it became my passion. After one year in New Zealand I moved to Canada where I spent 2 years in close vicinity of magnificent Rockies. Currently back home in Europe planning to extend my portfolio by beauties of local nature...
